Once the shadows raged—
dark shapes, cold and ragged,
and possessed of infinite
hatred and fear.
But no more. For even
as the light flickered
and then died, the shadows
melded into one.
And what is the difference?
Once the shadows raged—
dark shapes, cold and ragged,
and possessed of infinite
hatred and fear.
But no more. For even
as the light flickered
and then died, the shadows
melded into one.
And what is the difference?
